For our eight-page report in Sonntagsblick magazine, we dealt intensively with the city. Our goal was to show the metropolis from three perspectives: During helicopter flights we looked at Rio from the air (wide shot). On foot we spent several days in the quarters (medium shot). We met the inhabitants of the city (close up). In conversation with Rios residents Our goal was to show Rio from a new perspective – away from the usual topics like crime, poverty quarters, samba and carnival. We met exciting personalities. On Roberto Stern, the heir of Hans Stern, who runs the third largest jewellery manufacturer in the world, H.Stern. And with his designs the brand has its stamp. We met a lively person in the Botafogo district: Danni Camilo, owner of two gourmet restaurants. Afrobrasilian and successful businesswoman.
