About the picture

Rio de Janeiro inspires the Swiss photographer Nico Schaerer: “Rio is an aesthetically pleasing city”. The metropolis is extremely diverse. Beach and mountains. Jungle and beaches. Skyscrapers and slums. Travel journalist Martin Hoch visited the city several times: “It is this diffuse, warm light that makes me come back again and again. It enchants”.
