The two nuvu founders Nico Schaerer and Martin Hoch both travelled the world for over seven years. On one of these trips they got to know each other. In the untamed nature of Patagonia. The meeting place was no coincidence – both were searching for landscapes without human intervention. They are places of peace and longing. They trigger moments of happiness. With the RAW series, nuvu wants to make images of such landscapes available. They are supposed to be a window into distant, untouched primeval landscapes.

RAW was realized as a black-and-white series. The reason lies in the aesthetics: through the reduction to light and shadow, forms and structures reflect in sharp clarity.
